I’m here to support you on that journey every step of the way. Each client has their own unique experience, concerns, and needs. I will create a customized plan to support you in getting through this process addressing your mental, emotional, physical and spiritual needs.

Coaching

We will meet once a week for and hour to discuss any questions, concerns, thoughts or feelings you may have regarding your divorce. 

My divorce took two and a half year’s from filing to finish and although I had a good lawyer, an excellent therapist, close friends, what was really missing was someone with experience that could hold my hand, whisper wisdom and keep me accountable, disciplined and on track. It’s easy to lose your when navigating such difficult times.

Support

It takes a village to get married, have children, raise them and run a household.  Getting a divorce is no exception. Nobody should have to take that on alone. So why should we miraculously be expected to get ourselves through one of the most challenging, devastating and lonely times of our life. Wouldn’t it be nice to have someone in your corner and having your back at all times? In addition to your weekly coaching sessions, I am here to field brief emails, texts and phone calls. If necessary, we can schedule additional coaching sessions if more time is needed. In addition, you will be invited yo join a private Facebook group for other’s going through the same course of action.

Movement

This portion of my offering involves both the physical body as well as action steps you can take in your daily life. The prospect of dissolution with someone you once loved and cared deeply for can easily and quickly lead to inertia and lack of self care. Together we will create a daily movement ritual.  Drawing from your current interests and needs, we will come up with a list of activities you enjoy like; hiking, biking, running, rowing, walking, swimming, Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates etc. the list is infinite, so we  will find something that resonates.  There is no end, only a beginning to the variety of ways you can move your body.

Mindfulness

The idea behind mindfulness is in maintaining a moment to moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, surrounding environment and sensations in the body.  We do this by continuously coming back to the here and now and by discipling ourselves to avoid travel the temptation to time travel into the past or imagined future. Meditation, breath awareness and conscious eating are 3 examples of mindfulness practices. With your input, we will discover which methods will best serve you.
